What to do, what to do? Last 4th of July we went to a festival and every 4th of July we spent in Utah we went to the parade and festival and topped it off with Chinese food (we rarely eat American food, ha) then we would watch the fire works from a hilltop. This year we were a little stumped because our children are small and bouncy...so we decided to make this day more of a fun day. Kid requests only! We watched a movie at theater with a restaurant inside, ate at an all American Diner, had some ice cream, then we went home and crashed (knocked out). It does not seem like much but we started our day pretty early and drove to another city to do all of these wonderful things. We fell asleep, not on purpose, and unfortunately missed the fireworks. Yes, we were extremely exhausted!
