Don't Let the name fool you, but did you know that Lamps Plus sells home decor items? Well, they do! They have an insane inventory of area rugs to make you wish you were sitting on a plush brand new rug at this very moment. Yep, that is exactly how I feel when I am browsing their site drooling over all of the beautiful rugs they have to offer. Truth is, I am a simple girl who likes a lot of different things and I BELIEVE I can work with anything given the right setting. With that said, as I spent this past weekend browsing their site, I found myself imagining all the different room schemes that I can come up with using rugs from Lamps Plus. Crazy, eh?... True, though. I created a pictorial roundup of 18 rugs that are stylish and classic from Lamps Plus. Some of these are reminiscent of vintage worn Persian rugs while the others are quite trendy, but have a classic style. I am typically not one for crazy patterns on rugs, but the ones I have chosen I would love to decorate a space with.

    Never heard of Lamps Plus, but the rugs are really classic and would be great for a room! Funny how great rugs are found at a lamp store! ;)

    Oh I love the blue rugs! Never heard of this store, I will definitely be checking them out. Though I have a question for you. I have just moved into a new apartment and it has the ugliest carpet and it's in the dining room! As it's a rental I can't just rip it out, so I want to cover the carpet with a rug that's easy to clean, do you have any ideas for covering carpet with rug, making it stick and easy to clean?

      I can totally relate to you! First, what color is the rug? I do not know if you have children or pets, but one of my favorite types of area rug to use in my home is Persian rugs or any type of rug with a pattern...it hides stains. Normally when when something spills, I spot clean it. Remember when choosing a rug if you go with a solid rug (no pattern) dirt and stains are more visible. Thanks for this question...I need to do a post surrounding this so I can provide you with examples.

    Nice picks. We're ripping out the carpet in our living room soon, as the kis have destroyed the carpet, so we need a nice big rug.
