I recently sold my coffee table because I wasn't feeling it. Truth be told I never was into it...I really wanted a round vintage coffee table with some sort of brass element. Guess what?...I came across one on my local craigslist and was like hot damn, I need that in my life.

Isn't it gorgeous? The brass top reminds me of vases that my grandmother had in her home...ah, childhood memories! The legs are teak with brass tips. The wooden base modernizes the piece so it is not over the top, which I absolutely love. I haven't purchased it...let's just say, I sent a friendly hint to the mister.


Again, here is another piece found on craigslist that I am absolutely DYING over. I don't know if it is vintage, but I do know that it has a metal base with some brass in it and it gives off a Chinoserie/Greek key feel to it. I also, sent this find to the mister...and I think he may have been shocked that it wasn't full on brass or some type of gold metal.

Both pieces are truly one of kind pieces and I would LOVE one or both for Mother's Day! I sure hope he is reading this...hint, hint babe. Love ya much!
