1. Vintage Sofa - $50

Man I love this sofa! The fabric is nice and according to the seller is in mint condition. There is one blemish on the sofa, and that is the wood on the arm is chipped...it looks fixable but one will never know unless they see it for themselves. The chipped wood would have to be something I would look into. If I were to purchase this I would put in in my childrens room and reupholster it with a fun funky boho print and paint the wood.

2. Vintage Sectional - $100

So...it is no secret that I want a vintage sectional. This one is super affordable and in good condition. It has some sort of floral print which can be a turn off to others, but I find it quite charming. It is going for a great price and I hope someone snatches that baby up.

3. Pair of Vintage Occassional Chairs - $90

Now, this is a sight! I have been eyeing these chairs for a while. They look mid century modern and kind of mad-menish minus the vinyl. I love these chairs and the color is not so bad either...I do not know where I would put these if I were to purchase them.

4. 4 Vintage Mid Century Cosco Chairs - $80

When I first saw this set of Vintage Hamilton Cosco chairs all I could think of was...GAME NIGHT! These chairs are in good condition and super cool!

5. Pair of Slipper Chairs - $125

Lately,I have been in love and just swooning over slipper chairs. I don't know why....but anyways, I thought this was a great find. I love the fabric and the whole upholstery tack look. It looks very posh!

6. Vintage Mexican Bench - $275

This bench is so ethnic and boho....I love it! Throw some vibrant...more alive pillows on that baby and maybe even reupholster the cushion and this bench will be golden.

7. Vintage Sofa - $100

This find was more retro-cool, not necessarily the prettiest, but I love the fabric and I believe if this piece were in the right setting, it can be very glamorous and a show stopper.

8. Vintage Floor Lamp - $65

Canary yellow, that is all I am saying....so cool!

9. Mirror - $65

I can picture this mirror in a little girls room, it is snow-whitish and beautiful. The price is not bad compared to how much mirrors cost now a days.

10. Vintage lockers - $200

This is my absolute find out of craigslist post this week. I have never seen a wooden vintage locker set before. If only I had a mud room to put this in, I would snatch this baby up like there is no tomorrow....aaaaahhh. No painting or DIY necessary!

 

 

Below: I had to share, I thought these bar stools were gorgeous. They have been recently reupholstered and the owner did not stop to make it anything less than glamorous.

I haven't really been on Craigslist lately, but I did make sure to squeeze some "Craig" time in today. Like always, I fell in LOVE...just to be disappointed. Lol.
Here I am rambling and dreaming...basically, in order for me to purchase something so monstrous (in size), I need my own place...let's face it that couch is gorgeous but it will swallow my living room whole!

The other day I was browsing on "Craig", just To realize I wasn't on my local craigslist I was on Nashville Tennessee's board. Anyways as I was mistakenly checking out some furniture that I could not obtain, I saw this post of a Herman Miller Eames chair that has been recently recovered and was selling for $50, I literally started to get giddy. I have been wanting an Eames lounge chair for some time. In my mind an Eames lounge chair would be the perfect "man" chair in comparison to a bulky leather recliner. Again, there is no way I would be able to buy that chair; It is not even located in the state I live in and there is no way I am driving all the way over there to obtain it.
As I was contemplating about how sweet it would be to have an Eames chair, I got a gut wrench feeling (not a bad one, but a "I should have..." type of feeling). See, a couple of months ago I believe I actually came in contact with an Eames lounge chair at one of my local thrift stores. It looked just like an Eames chair, I would not even be shocked if it were a reproduction. Fact is I did not even approach the item up close to see the tag or to even check it out I literally admired it from a pretty close distance (about 10 feet) and talked myself out of it because I had my children with me. Later that day when I was talking with the mister I told him about the chair and he said, "why don't you get it?"....I thought about it, but again, I talked myself out of it. Now here I am wishing I had at least looked at the tag and got a closer look.

Okay, okay okay...I decided to title my craigslist finds as The Best of Craig. I thought Craigslist finds sounded a bit boring. Lol. Before I go any further I want to apologize for all the silence...no need to explain, we all have our days.
If I had all the money in the world, I would not really ever think twice about what to buy on craigslist and I would just go for it. Since I have to be money conscience I have to weed out what I want and just buy what I need. After talking to the mister, I came to the conclusion that if I see something unique and it is priced reasonably (even if it is above the amount I normally spend) and I cannot live without it I am just going to get it. Yup...that is how it is going to be.
Now to the furniture, we all know I want the brass coffee table...we will see if the mister got my hint (see here). My absolute favorite Craigslist find is the vintage mid century sofa. I love the detail on the pillows and the color of the fabric. I really wish somebody did not buy it so quickly. Just my luck! Note: I would switch out my vintage pink love seat for that mid century couch--
The longer more pinkish mid century sofa I believe is a steal of a deal. According to the seller the sofa is in mint condition and priced to sell. The campaign chair is also one hell of a deal and something "out of the ordinary". When do you ever come across a chair like that? I contacted the sellers on the campaign chair but never heard back, so my thought is it is GONE. Talk about campaign...you see that dresser? I snatched that up. It is legit...vintage campaign in great condition. There is a little paint on the drawer but besides that it is pretty sweet. Another steal of a deal was the FREE sideboard. By the photo it appears to be in great condition...another deal I missed, I did try. If I could I would buy everything...mentally I am a furniture hoarder. Ha ha!
Overall, I think all of these pieces are great show stopping pieces...hopefully they find a great home to go to.

I recently sold my coffee table because I wasn't feeling it. Truth be told I never was into it...I really wanted a round vintage coffee table with some sort of brass element. Guess what?...I came across one on my local craigslist and was like hot damn, I need that in my life.

Isn't it gorgeous? The brass top reminds me of vases that my grandmother had in her home...ah, childhood memories! The legs are teak with brass tips. The wooden base modernizes the piece so it is not over the top, which I absolutely love. I haven't purchased it...let's just say, I sent a friendly hint to the mister.


Again, here is another piece found on craigslist that I am absolutely DYING over. I don't know if it is vintage, but I do know that it has a metal base with some brass in it and it gives off a Chinoserie/Greek key feel to it. I also, sent this find to the mister...and I think he may have been shocked that it wasn't full on brass or some type of gold metal.

Both pieces are truly one of kind pieces and I would LOVE one or both for Mother's Day! I sure hope he is reading this...hint, hint babe. Love ya much!
