DIY Figurine Lamp

Hello Guys! It is great to be back! I have been hard at work painting and painting and painting for the #30dayflip. Remember...no walls are being painted, just some other projects. I was able to sneak in a quick DIY though...when I say quick, I mean it is so quick it took me less than 5 minutes to create...and it is SIMPLE!

I have always loved figurine lamps...especially chinoiserie figurine lamps,  so when I picked up these lamps from Target two years ago I knew I had to attempt to create one. Originally, I was trying to find porcelain Chinese figurines to create them with...but I had no luck. So when I saw these (hollow) brass bunnies at Home Goods I had to use them for my kids room #30dayflip makeover.

Materials:
-Lamp with a pedestal or flat surface to sit a figurine on
-Figurine (porcelain, metal, brass, wood, etc...)
- Command 3M sticky tape, E6000 glue, or a hot glue gun

* I chose to use Command 3M sticky tape because I wanted it to be interchangeable.

Basically all you do is put your sticky tape or glue on your figurine and center it on the lamp pedestal.
That is it....Easy peasy pudding and pie.

Oh and I only spent $4.99 on the bunny ($10 for two bunnies...steal of a deal). I am pretty sure now that Easter is over all the bunnies are on sale. If you are on a strict budget you can always go to the thrift store and find some figurines there (matching or not matching) and spray paint them to your desired color. Maybe I will save my original plans for this lamp for when I buy a house....interchangeable.

Just for y'all, here is a sneak peek...just a little peek of what is going on in my girl's room for the #30dayflip...Enjoy!

    1. Thanks! I love black and gold combo...I even thought to draw on the shade, but it would defeat the purpose of it being interchangeable....maybe I will bite the bullet and just do it.
