Welcome to my very first home tour! I live in a cozy, outdated rental that is a diamond in the rough. I thought I would start small and start off with a tour of my living room. Although I live in a rental, I am happy to state that I am satisfied with the design-direction of where my house is going. There will be no sledge hammer and holes in the wall...just simple DIY's and thrifty finds. My home style is Eclectic and sometimes I call it "Eclectic Edge"....I don't know I just feel as though it fits my personality.
I could not help but to include my antennae. I was too afraid to touch it because I did not want to ruin the channeling system....here is my reality.
I know my space may not make sense to some people but it makes sense to me. I love color and I am so not that matchy-matchy type person. I am a little Psychedelic, Ha! I always have been...."Eclectic Edge"...Thanks for the visit!

    I think your living room is looking great and you've done a nice job contrasting textures, patterns and colors. You have a good knack for it!

      Thanks Jennifer! I have given up on trying to match things...when I do, it just stresses me out. I love color and patterns, and that is just me...or my intuition. lol.

    Very nice. I'm eCleCtiC too ... and always say, "my Three C's are color, comfort and clean". Looks like you ride the same train. I just pick up things that make me "ooh" when I see them, OR really weird things that I want to use for or make into something else. Over time, it just all seems to live well together ... for the most part anyway! :D

      Thanks for stopping by Cheryl! Yeah, I do the same thing...I just buy what I like. There are a lot of things I like that a whole bunch of other people would just walk by. Yup, eventually it all makes sense.
