Festive Thanksgiving Tablescape

For those who really know me, they know that I can be a little over-the-top with decorating and maybe even in clothing style....so I thought there is no better way to be over-the-top then by creating a vibrant fall festive tablescape! Although versatile, this setting will most likely change come December...we will see. I know the pumpkins will be gone for sure.

I love mixing up patterns and texture...so creating a table setting where nothing is one complete set was pretty much a no brainer. I thrift shop ALOT and it is extremely hard to find a complete dish set. I decided not to use goblets for this occasion simply because I do not have any. I have not found any that I like. However, I passed up a great opportunity to own vintage emerald green depression glassware....I know, I know....I am kicking myself in the butt right now, it literally makes me cringe.

This is an aerial view of my table, unfortunately I could not fit my whole table in the picture. I love how the colors come together. It is funny how decorating a room can show so much of ones design style....I love color....

For the guest table setting, I decide to use three different white dishes. All have some type of texture on it and the top dessert plates have a cool rose print on it which reminds me of the 80's for some reason. The all white plates and rose plates were thrifted, while the white plate with the gold rim was free item that I picked up at a "Swap-n-shop".

The table settings at the head of the table have been adorned with solid white and black plates. The black plates where thrift store finds. The pumpkin was purchased at Michael's.

The big elephant in the room and beautiful yard sale finds were these $1 light fixtures turned candle. I absolutely love these fixture and the make space better than I could have ever imagined.

Thanks for the visit and Happy Thanksgiving!
