New Year, New Room Refresh Dining Room Reveal
February 02, 2016
I would like to give a huge "Thank You" to Lamps Plus for sponsoring my chairs, Minted for the Curtains (on its way) and to Framebridge for instagram mini wall decor. This is a sponsored post, all thoughts and opinions are 100% mine. Also, this post may contain affiliate links where if a purchase is made through my links, I will be compensated at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting Domicile 37.
Happy Tuesday! Before I soak myself into this post, I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Lamps Plus, Minted, and Framebridge for sponsoring this post!!! I love everything! Okay guys...Last week I shared some tips on hanging art...this week, I am sharing my dining room. Today is the BIG reveal day for my New Year New Room Refresh Challenge hosted by Casa Watkins...I have been waiting forever! Last week half of the girls revealed their room, this week the other half will reveal their room with or without it fully finished. I will admit, I am still waiting on my curtains and I will re-share the space when those are hung.
I spent one Saturday creating this wall art and literally saved these frames for almost 4 years just to do this to them. I have had this vision forever and I am so happy that it came to life.
The Minted curtains will be hung on this wall. Along with the Framebridge photo that I have received. Unfortunately, I cannot build up the strength to to hang my photo up until I receive the Deco Curtains from Minted. I know silly me, I have a vision and I did not want to make a hole in the wall without the curtains in place. You can check out the Framebridge frame and matting combo I chose, here.
One of the sponsors who sponsored this challenge was Lamps Plus ---I love them. This is the smallest room in the house and the light airy feeling the the chairs exude makes the room feel brighter and less crowded than if I were to have used traditional dining chairs petite in stature.
The beautiful rug is a new purchase from Wayfair. I was really drawn to the color mixture. I rarely ever see black in persian rugs, so that was a huge bonus and the hints of blue were also lovely.
To balance out the room, I chose incorporate my Old World Ashley dresser and use it as a buffet. This is where we store tupperware and platters. Although this space is larger than our last rental, we do lack kitchen storage so this dresser comes in handy is located steps outside the kitchen.
I have a very eclectic style and I am at a lost at what to really call it, but I really enjoy print and signage like that of what one can find in a magazine. With that said, to offset the collage on the opposite wall, I hung my DIY Non- art and Prada Marfa signage.
