Oh my, summer is finally here or close to it. I was scared for a while, the weather has been crazy and now here in NC it is finally heating up. I have been waiting months for this home tour and  I am so thrilled to be apart of this summer eclectic home tour with the best of the best eclectic  home decor bloggers. I love seeing the MANY different ways people decorate their home. I love the mix and matching of styles and just seeing how fearless we are. If you are coming from 58th Water Street, Welcome. I am happy to have you! It is no secret that I live in a rental. With that said, my home is the epitome of what a rental home looks like with a touch of Domicile 37.

I shared my dining room earlier in the year for the New Year New Room Refresh which was hosted by Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living. Not much has changed in the room except for the table setting and a little things here and there. I said it once and I will say it again, this is my favorite room in the house. Behind every piece is a story and all my pieces fit this room like a glove. It was amazing how simple this room came together.

I am a hoarder. I collect junk according to my daughter. haha! In my dining room I like to display some of my dishes and thrifted treasures. There is nothing wrong with that, except they collect dust. However, I do use them...nothing goes to waste or unnoticed in my house, everything has a purpose.

I rarely, if ever show off any of rental kitchens, for obvious reasons. I really like this small galley kitchen and this bar area is one of my favorite areas in the house. I was able to switch up my original backsplash with white ones from Smart Tiles. I will do a separate post on that to show you a before and after. In the meanwhile, how cool are my stools?...They are vintage and were gifted to me by my sister-in-law.

I shared my dining room, my kitchen, and my bar area now I am about to share another eating area with you. I really do not know what to call this area, it is definitely a space of its own and it is where my family eats dinner.

I shared this space in the reveal of my One Room Challenge this past spring. Nothing has changed. I really wanted to keep this area clutter free since this is where my family "hangs out" --in other wards, this is where my kids make a mess when they are NOT in their room.

  7. Oh, those stools! You have a fantastic sis-in-law, too! Mine is pretty awesome as well (she traded with me for my beloved Homecrest wire patio furniture). Ever since then, she pretty much can do no wrong in my book. Can't wait to see your post on the tiles, I've been contemplating them for my laundry room. And thanks so much, Jess, for all the hard work on the tour - seeing all the creative content has been nothing short of amazing inspiration! You're the best.

  9. Loved seeing all the spaces together in one tour-- you've made such a lovely cohesive space and so quickly! It definitely does *not* feel like a rental. Those barstools are also a fave!

  10. Nothing about your home looks like a rental--you really made the whole house look like you. I'm completely intrigued by the tile and can't wait to read about it. It looks like a cool product. Your barstools are gorgeous but my favorite thing in your home is your buffet. Every time I see it, I'm reminded of my favorite store, The Paris Market in Savannah. You need to go someday--you'd love it! Thanks for organizing the tour--it's been great to see other bloggers who like decorating outside of the box.
