Happy Wednesday!

September was an okay month. Football is now in season. The upcoming holiday season is rolling in FAAAAST and a ton of ideas are swirling in my head. I am excited for the fall/winter season...it will be my first one as a serious blogger.

September Goals
My number one goal for September was to get my body back....well, I worked out a couple of times, but not enough to look like Kelly Ripa. I also said that I was going to return back to my Paleo lifestyle...that was a hard one to stick to, but if a partial paleo lifestyle counts than I did that for a quarter of the month. It was hard to stick to because I did not budget enough for it. My second goal for the month of September was to consign my kids stuff and a few other things...."I survived!" and so did my house. It took me a week to recover from the initial sorting mess, but I was able to clear out a van load of small kids clothes, toys, and some home decor stuff. I think that might have been the last consignment sale that I consign for. I cannot handle the stress. My third goal for September was to keep my house clean. Again, it was partial clean...the downstairs remained clean and tidy while the upstairs is a hot mess...Let's just say the mess from the digging through the hoard room to look for stuff to sell for the consignment sale got me good. That room is overflowing...AGAIN! It is uncontainable. My fifth goal was to clean up my Pinterest account...That I did! I might go back and delete a few more things from boards but for the most part, I am satisfied with my accomplishment.

October Goals

1. Try Not to Stress: Y'all probably could not tell...but the month of September was EXTREMELY stressful for me...I think it may have been the whole consignment thing...I do not know, but I do know that I was so stressed out I was sick for a week and ended up having really bad eczema flair ups (I only flair up when I put under a whole lot of stress). To top it off, my daughter was sick and in and out of the doctors office throughout the month of September. I am hoping that stress level can stay low throughout the month of October and that I will practice a ton of patience and just breathe.

2. Fall Bucket List: Fall is officially here...So we are going to start crossing off some of the items that are on my kids bucket list. They are on fall break, so what better way to spend it then to bake a lot, go to the pumpkin patch, and do some other family fun activities? I hoping it does not rain the whole time---It has been raining everyday of fall this year so far.

3. One Room Challenge: I plan on redoing my small master bedroom for the one room challenge. I would love it if you follow me through the challenge. I would love it if you can subscribe to my blog so you do not miss a post. On that note, I will be doing things differently for the month of October...I plan on posting 5 days a week. So far my schedule is booked, so wish me luck in keeping up with the momentum.

Well, these are my goals for this month. I am so tired as I am writing this...this is what happens when your kids are on break...I am like a walking zombie.

  1. Seriously - not sure if Kelly Ripa ever eats after working out for hours a day! haha... but I also have that goal for September and restarted Weight Watchers. Love eating healthy and having that guide of points. Some people hate it... I love it. So easy! Good luck with all your goals!

  2. I can't even imagine the stress of consigning for a sale, omg. I love going to the sales to shop, and I always consider selling but I never do it. It seems like so much work. I just take my kids stuff to a consignment store in my area, it's so much easier! I hope your daughter is feeling better too. Good luck with your October goals!

  8. I also had the goal of working out and eating healthier, but I've been sick off and on all month and that gives me little to no motivation! Ha! Oh well. There's always next month.

  11. Really awesome goals! I love the one-room challenge. I feel as though micro-targeting my focus to just one area in the apartment might make the task of reorganizing and decluttering not as daunting.

    Hope you're having a great week :)
