This year I linked up with a handful of other bloggers for the Christmas in the Country Home Tour. I thought it would be fun to do a holiday home tour no matter what the theme was. So, I am happy and blessed to have this opportunity.
Obviously, my design style is Eclectic....my holiday style is...hmm...whatever I am in the mood for during that time. LOL. I do not have a holiday style, but I know that I wanted to do an Art Deco theme Christmas this year. Last year my Christmas had a vintage charm to it....check it out, here.
I truly tried to incorporate what I thought would be "Roaring 20's" Christmas Decor at its best. I DIYed some "Christmas" trees....a Cranberry Red tinsel tree and two other trees wrapped in fabric that compliments the red tree along with the Art Deco look I was going for.
When I think of Art Deco...I think of PARTTTTAYYYY....so Gatsby. So I DIYed some "temporary" art...which I might be lazy to take down after the holidays...and...I love the look of ornaments in a jar and how the look of holiday beads can make it chic and fun instead of one dimensional and boring....just saying.
So chic....and bubbly. I love the simplicity of the table setting and the color combo. NO disguising my love for black and gold....with a pop of red. The cylinder trees were purchased at Michael's but can easily be DIYed.
