While we were snowed in the past 2 weeks, I was internet surfing for deals...then I got sick with the flu, but like most decor hoarders....I could not stop until I locked in a deal. I saw this cute grey demilune table and I knew I had to have it...sick or not sick...snowed in or not snowed in! I literally pleaded with the seller to hold it for me until I got better and voila...she did! The seller had GREAT vintage items that I had missed out, but I am happy I got the table.

The location of this table is in my hall near my stairs and I think it is the PERFECT spot. I am kind of shocked though, I never thought I would move my bar cart from that area, but to my surprise...the rattan demilune table looks better in that spot.

This is how "this" area looked prior to me redecorating it minus the pumpkins....big change! You can find the before and after picture of my bar cart, here

Now lets talk about this oil painting. Artist...???unknown. This purchase happened once the snow melted and the weather spiced up a little. Normally, after holidays or bad weather the thrift stores are typically HOT with items, but to my surprise, I only purchased two items and visited 4 different stores and almost all of them were bare. I picked up this painting by an unknown artist for a whooping $3. Love it! The colors are very springy and adds that pop of color to my dining room. The frame is quite interesting...it is plastic painted black and gold, but I like it. It is not perfect but that is what makes it a great piece.

This is a close-up of the gorgeous table. In the green vase, I keep my kids chalk and eraser for their chalkboard wall which is located nearby. I would have never thought to paint rattan grey myself. Man, I love it.
