Lookie lookie....taste that cookie....guess what I picked up yesterday? While doing my late night craigslist check (before I went to bed) I came across across the...FREE section and someone in my neighborhood was giving away a vintage camelback sofa...so I had to respond. By the look of the photo in the ad it was in good condition....not too shabby. Well, you know how it is you ask all the questions...smoke free, pet free, etc...let's just say, I got the couch but the owners told a fib...I think they had a pet....I was deep cleaning that bad boy all yesterday out in the freaking cold...but hey it looks good in my kitchen and it is odor free...yay!It WILL need to be reupholstered soon, though....it will be a good practice before I tackle our davenport (sofa).

This was the pic from the ad, the couple was moving and just needed it gone.
When I washed the cover for the cushions...it shrunk a little, but I am not that worried...I hope I can reupholster it in the next month.

I dallied up and created a collage of some reupholstered vintage camelback sofas for inspiration....love it!

  1. Regardless of whether you happen to be using a rented lodging or you keep a single, what's more, it impacts the sort of lounge you would like to purchase. When the property is usually local rental, you'll have to ensure that your household sofa isn't offering just about any undesirable results on to the floor or other rented stuffs, which could contain flames retardant lounge fillings and also treatments. May buy floor protectors as a way to prevent your floor having damaged.
